Q. What was your background before joining Dig Insights?
After completing my undergrad in Marketing, market research was the field that interested me the most. Therefore, I decided to take my degree further and continue my education with a postgraduate diploma at Georgian College.
My first career in research took place at Ipsos, where I had the opportunity to work with a great team who taught me all the fundamentals of research. Now at Dig, I am hoping to take what I have learned and continue to provide solutions for clients by translating complex data analytics into the simplest stories.
Q. How do you think market research will change in the next 3 years?
Research is an ongoing process and therefore will change with different behaviours, trends, fads, etc.
Technology will definitely play an even bigger role than it does today. As technology is constantly being updated to create a more convenient lifestyle for people, research should also adopt this mentality. New research methods need to be developed in order to obtain the same quality of data in a shorter time frame.
Q. If you were not working in this industry or in your current role, what work would you want to do?
I would become an Event Planner. I find it exciting to organize and watch an event come together from start to finish. And what’s similar with event planning and market research is that no event is ever the same.
