Q. What was your background before joining Dig Insights?

As many individuals who have a BA in Psychology, I graduated unsure of what I wanted to do. Before Dig Insights, I was in a completely different field. Working with individuals with Autism and using Behaviour Analysis to find the functions of behaviour, I became captivated by what drives behaviour, and I have translated that fascination into Market Research. Recently completing my Research Analyst Certificate, I am looking forward to immersing myself in the innovative, idea driven culture of Dig.

Q. How do you think market research will change in the next 3 years?

It’s not groundbreaking to say that technology has changed many aspects of society; Market Research is no different. With everything being more mobile, and instantaneous, we have to keep up with the society we are trying to understand. We have already changed the way we conduct our research, from the way we collect information from people, to the way we analyze that information. I feel that we will continue to use technology to gain insights we never thought we could.

Q. If you were not in market research, what work would you want to do?

Two options:

  1. I would love to travel and teach English in different countries, that way I could get paid, while experiencing new cultures.
  2. I love breakfast food, and I love cooking for people. It would be great to have a small breakfast/brunch restaurant! Get to cook my favourite food for people, and I would always have access to coffee; what could be better!
