Q. What was your background before joining Dig Insights?

Before joining Dig Insights I had different roles in finance and accounting in few different industries, including consulting, manufacturing and construction.

Q. How do you think market research will change in the next 3 years?

I think it depends on the type of research.

If we are talking about people’s behaviour then we are in the middle of a shift of the way companies collect research data where more and more research is done through social media platforms. New algorithms are being written every day to collect more data points on people and the key is to collect that data ethically.

If we are talking about things like, population density, then technology will continue to evolve and will eventually replace traditional ways of collecting data.

In the next 3 years I think technological trend will continue to drive data collection while there will still be the need to interpret that data into meaningful information.

Q. If you were not in market research, what work would you want to do?

If not in the market research, I would probably do something in the investing field.
